Whew!!! What a weekend. Tea with prince William. Yes ladies he's just as good looking in person. Gambling in Monte Carlo, Shopping in Paris, Skipped up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun.
Seriously, Sorry if any of you were worried. Just a busy weekend. Saturday I went shopping with my daughter and hubby. Ran all over town looking for a recumbent exercise bike for the mother-in-law. And other gifts. It was snowing heavy and the traffic was awful. We got home in time to get ready for church, then met Miranda and Chris for dinner after that. I was so tired when we got home that I watched a movie and went to bed. We got up Sunday and went to visit at my sisters home to see my niece and her husband who were up from Florida. Ended up getting a migraine last night and went to bed. Slept a lot today trying to get rid of the last of the headache. Thank God it's gone.
Now I think I have missed a lot. There are lots of little faces looking at me under my message box. Pioneer must have been busy to. Anything else new? I hope you all have been well. Everyone o.k? I missed you guys so much!

Well it was not a fun night diving to work last night. The roads were completely covered with snow. Diane (my friend) had to watch the right side so I didn't fall off the edge of the road while I tied to find the center line. Which I couldn't because of the snow. Mostly I just drove down the middle until a semi would come up behind me and I had to inch my way over to the right lane. And the snow was still coming down so hard. You know what it's like when your driving in it and it starts to freak your eyes out when it swirls around the headlights. It took us an extra 45 mins. to get there but we made it safe and thats the main thing. Then I had 2 meetings with management. They want to start an annual review policy for employees which we've never had before except for new hires. This will piss alot of people off. But it is the job of both the company and the union to help get it started as smoothly as possible. Then before I left this morning an employee asked me to go up to H.R. with her to represent her as she had been called to the office. She was on a "last chance" write up and had been caught on the security cameras taking extended breaks and time charging. Being on a last chance gives the company the right to fire you for the smallest violation so there wasn't any way I could save her job for her. I felt so bad. Right before the holidays too. But there really wasn't anything I could do. I told her when they wrote her up the first time that they would be watching for her to screw up and not to give them any reason to terminate her. I still feel bad though. Sometimes this job sucks and I wonder why I do it.

We are supposed to get snow tonight and it's my turn to drive. Actually that is a good thing because my friend that I take turns with is a terrible winter driver. She scares the heck out of me because she's so afraid. I scare her because I won't drive 20 miles an hour. We're quite a pair. Anyway I hope we won't get very much it's a 70 mile round trip drive. But they put a winter weather advisory out. I wish I hadn't traded in my old car. It was an Olds Aurora. A big car. It was loaded. I loved that car. It did awesome in snow. Never slipped a tire. It had so many miles on it though we needed to trade. I drive an Impala now. I do not love this car. I thought I would, a couple of my sisters have them and I liked theirs so I bought one. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles the Olds had and it doesn't ride or drive as nice. You hear a lot more road noise in the Impala too. I just hope it does good in snow. I guess I'll find out tonight. Sleep well friends,Pie
